Adsl Fibre is unshaped after hours and during weekends, providing far lower latency compared to shaped accounts and are great for gaming.
Shaped: bandwidth is shaped so that essential email/browsing/ftp protocols get normal speed, whilst Peer2Peer, File sharing and other bandwidth intensive protocols get lower priority. Unshaped: All protocols get an equal priority.
Should you exceed the cap (or limit) at any time, simply contact us to obtain a Top-up Adsl User-ID and password, or Upgrade to a higher cap and retain the same user-id and password. Neither Adsl nor top-ups are charged pro-rata. Unused bandwidth cannot be carried over. For higher usage, subscribe to our Business Adsl services.
Should you require Local bandwidth for Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections or interconnecting branches, subscribe to the Adsl with free local bandwidth.
Email services are available on the Eject Standard service, or the Email only service. If you cancel your Eject Standard Service you will lose the : Dialup, Emails and Webspace
Look at the benefits of Adsl Satellite vs Adsl Fibre services.
Telkom will charge a once-off installation fee of R 534, or if you opt for the self-install option there is no installation fee. Do not subscribe to Telkom's bandwidth services if you intend using Eject Internet access services. We recommend that you do NOT sign a 24-month contract. Adsl speeds cannot be guaranteed due to various factors including line length, copper quality, network latency and the number of subscribers. Telkom and Eject does not have control over the throughput speeds once the World Wide Web or your ISP's equipment is reached.
